It has been a fantastic start to the summer tournament season for AFC Reading, with three additional teams bringing home silverware in an incredible weekend of football.

Congratulations to our U14 JPL Girls, U13 Comets and U13 Carolina Belles, who were all crowned tournament champions. Their success is a testament to the hard work, commitment and determination shown by the players throughout the season, as well as the dedication of our coaches, managers and supportive families.

Winning one tournament is a tremendous achievement, but for three AFC Reading teams to lift trophies on the same weekend is something truly special. Each squad demonstrated the values that define our club – teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and a desire to continually improve.

These victories are a reward for the countless hours spent training, learning and developing together, and reflect the strength of the pathway we are building across the club.

We would like to thank all of our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters who continue to make opportunities like this possible for our players.

This is a fantastic way to kick off what promises to be an exciting summer of English football tournaments. We look forward to seeing many more AFC Reading teams competing, developing and creating lasting memories in the weeks ahead.
