Unlucky with the result today, but a great effort from everyone. ⚽️

Their goal came from a ball over the top, and we had chances of our own. It was our first game of the season, so we’ll keep working hard and get back to playing our football on the floor. We go again next week at home! ?

A big thank you to Jack for stepping up and going in goal for his first game, and to Jessie for a great save in the second half! ?

Also, well done to Shriyan, who is still recovering from the flu but played really well today. I didn’t want to overwork you, so we managed your minutes. We’ve also still got Harry and Owen to come back into the squad, which will give us more options.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone! ⚽️?⚫️
